Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before ordering

A question about coupons, shades of white, delivery, or how Blankabric works? Here are the essential answers for a smooth ordering experience.

How are Blankabric fabrics sold?

Our fabrics are mainly offered as remnants, from 1 to 6 meters. This format provides a good length for creating a dress, a blouse, a skirt, a shirt, a lining, or several sewing projects.

Are the fabrics new?

Yes, the fabrics offered on Blankabric are unused. However, they may come from revalorized stock, end-of-series, second-choice, or batches saved from destruction. This is what allows us to offer interesting fabrics in limited quantities, with a more responsible approach.

Why are some fabrics in limited quantities?

Blankabric works with batches available in limited quantities. When a fabric is out of stock, it is often difficult, if not impossible, to find the exact same one again. If you like a fabric, it's best not to wait too long.

Are the colors displayed on the site true to reality?

We do our best to photograph fabrics accurately. However, the rendering may vary depending on the light, the screen used, and the display settings. Shades of white and off-white are particularly subtle: a natural white, an ivory, or a cream may appear slightly different from one screen to another.

How to choose the right shade of white?

Cool whites tend more towards blue or gray, while warm whites are closer to ivory, cream, or ecru. For a bright and modern look, opt for a cool or natural white. For a soft, vintage, or romantic feel, ivory and cream shades are often more suitable.

Can fabrics have small flaws?

This is possible on some references, especially when it comes to second choice. When we identify a significant defect, we try to point it out in the product sheet. However, small irregularities may be present on some fabrics, without preventing their use in sewing. They are part of the nature of certain revalued batches.

Are the fabrics washed before shipping?

No, fabrics are not washed before shipping. We advise you to wash your fabric before sewing, especially for natural materials such as cotton, linen or viscose, in order to anticipate any shrinkage.

How do I care for my fabric?

Care instructions may vary depending on the material. In general, we recommend a first gentle wash at low temperature, with similar colors, followed by natural drying. For delicate fabrics, hand washing or a delicate cycle is preferable.

Where do you deliver?

Blankabric delivers in France and several European countries. The available delivery options are automatically displayed at the time of order based on your address.

What are the shipping times?

Orders are prepared with care as quickly as possible. The exact timeframe may vary depending on the period, order volume, and selected carrier. Order dispatch generally takes 24/48 hours.
Once your package has been shipped, you will receive tracking information by email.

Can I return a fabric?

If you encounter a problem with your order, please contact us quickly so that we can find a solution. Fabrics cut or prepared to a specific length may be subject to special return conditions. Complete information is available in the site's return policy.
